Hi there,

I launched a site last month. All pages of the site are indexed in Google within 1.5 week.

But recently, I noticed in webmaster that index status are decreasing for my site.

Can Anyone give me proper solution for that?

N.B: recently I change some content & give image alt text. Is that anyhow related for Google indexing?

This will not affect your indexing.

Please do a search of your website with site:www(dot)example(dot)com.

Submit a updated sitemap file to the webmaster tool

Well, i don't think that anyone over here can tell you ! the reason behind the decrease in the indexing. Do one thing, try submitting the SiteMap again over the Google Webmaster Tool and then again use the fetch as Google open and see what happens !

I'm not exactly sure what will cause the indexed pages to disappear but the I'm certain its not the change in content or alt text.

    Hi,

Changing content and adding alt tags may be affected your indexing status.
Generate new sitemap & resubmit once again in Google webmaster tools.
    This may help you.

Indexing is necessary for every site. Doing indexing for once is not enough to keep a site at a good position. Do indexing properly for your site, in fact each and every week.

Might be reason. You have not updated anything.
Incase you are asking about ranking. No one can give you clear idea about it.
