Categorization of wordpress posts

I am using wp for my website/blog. Many times when I write a post, it fits in more than one category. Can I put a post in more than one category. Will it be ok for SEO ponit of view.

    Yes you can, the same way you can add multiple tags to the same post.

    Yeah you can add it to as many categories you want, its just for a search purpose, its organized and more clean/professional like that. Better indexed I believe for searches

    Don't add pages/post to multiple categories, it's bad user experience & confusing Google (duplicate pages). Pick one category per page/post.

    Yes, you can assign one or more than one category for each post. Only thing to keep in mind is relevancy. If your post suits multiple categories then you should do.

    Keep user experience in mind not the Google.

    Put the post in the MOST relevant category for the post.
    Yes, i think you need to do more than 1 category and that's will be better for Google and your users.
