    which is better?
    • Q: Which is better, a hammer or a paint brush?
    • A: They're both used for different things.

    • Noindex = remove the page from the SERPs.
    • Nofollow = Gbot doesn't follow the link/URL.

Did you even read Yukon's response?

Look at what those options do. It's pretty clear.

I don't know what the frick a robots meta noindex is, nor
    a meta robots nofollow.

I can only assume you are mixing up meta with robots.txt,
and, a bad place to start learning is the WF. Slapping together
a WP site, with no clue on code like that, well, start from the
beginning. Learn some coding. Learn what the stuff means, does,
and what is was intended to do.

Click them both, Then, you have solved the web's problem of more
junk sites added to the mix.

Do you need to block a webpage from being indexed in the SERPs or need to tell Google to not follow the page/URLs?

    I give up.

Yes noindex and nofollow every page you can. Sounds like a great idea.
