How to Create natural backlinks for Event Based blog

I am new to event based blogging, so did everything that a blog required to rank on top of google search results.
But the main issue occurred when I wanted to increase the backlinks count.
So any idea or suggestion how can I increase the number of backlinks for my event based blog in such a small span of time?

    Doesn't sound too complicated, find blogs/sites that talk about the same events.

    Well, i think if you move forward with that though I am sure its going to hurt you ! Because generating a backlink in a short span of time is going to hunt you down to bottom I would say instead of concentrating over such try to concentrate on how can you build strong backlink i.e. the link which is going to pass the juice out of it !
