Hi there,

Is there a plugin that I can install that automatically checks my Google rankings and displays the results in my wordpress dashboard, I've seen something before I think but can't find it.

Thanks in advance

I think you don't need a WordPress plugin for that because you can use an Add-on (if you use Firefox). You can use SeoQuake or go to MOZ and get their bar, so that the results can be displayed at the top of your page automatically at anytime, without needing to go to a certain page and run a checking process.

I am not aware of any free ones...but you can take a look at Rankie if you want something that works pretty well.

Forget about wordpress plugins. Just use an online tool like micrositemasters.com or serpfox.com. micrositemasters.com has a free account option.

Why does it need to even be online? Besides, If the keyword is GEO based you'll be getting SERPs based on the server physical location.

It's not difficult to download the HTML code of Google SERPs without a browser. Once you have that source code offline you can scrape any info. you want without personalized SERPs (browser history, etc...). Repeat...

Care to explain how that is done Yukon? I am assuming you have to find your site in the SERP and then load the source code. Not sure what I am going to see there as I have never done that.

          Curl or wget should work.
