Blogger Vs Wordpress

Which is more useful to get backlinks in terms of SEO, Blogger blogs or wordpress blogs? As far as I know, Blogger blogs are more useful however, If you think about blog commenting, 99% of the blogs from blogger.com are NOFOLLOW...... Please do share your views about SEO Vs (Blogger Vs WordPress)....... Cheers guys,

    Hi jim,

    If you mean blog at wordpress.com and blogger.com perhaps blogger.com would be a better choice.

    Then comes another piece of blogging software - wordpress. Many professional bloggers used wordpress on third party hosting like godaddy, gatorhost and others. When the two combine it makes one of the best tools for bloggers.

        It is a little technical, there is a plugin to download and install in the weblog to make it easy for your to get backlink in wordpress.

            i love blogger due to it is one of google services and i think blogger rank faster than wordpress

              Blogger may be indexes faster than wordpress but I prefer Wordpress.If you can afford webhosting,go for wordpress .it has extensive support of plugins for everykind.You can't do that for blogger and you have to depend upon somebody(The free host).

    Sorry, I'm confused. Are you getting backlinks from your own Blogger/WP blog or spamming someone elses? If it's your own blog, seeing Blogger is owned by Google you can be pretty sure the big G is going to be into it, no? Having said that Wordpress plugins make SEO pretty darn easy. If you're trying for backlinks from someone else's blog... hmmmm maybe you should be going about it in a different way.

      Well, I am getting links from my own wordpress/blogger blogs as well as giving some valuable comments with 60-70 words on others blog and getting good feedback from blog owners and get a backlink on the blog there as well as sometimes I used to exchange link with the blog owners too..... That is the case, So, Y should I spam others man?

    I currently use blogger because I personally think it is easier to use. The best way to get the best experience out of SEO is to host your own domain on a wordpress blog to have access to the plugins (seo plugins etc). But if you are planning on using wordpress or blogger for free than I would suggest blogger because you can not use adsense on wordpress blogs (unless your running them on your own domain or unless anything has changed in the past year). Only problem with blogger is that they can cancel your blog for no apparent reason (I have had some of mine closed before).

    I prefer blogger.com for this purpose, Even, I have got PR4 to my blogger blog last time which I used to promote my other site. but my original site has PR3..... it is really funny, however now the backlinks from my blogger.com are getting strong due to PR4....... So, Blogger.com is the best...

    I don't think so it matters alot in SEO because it depends on how much work you are doing for your blog so it can be any of blogger or wordpress but if you just talk about general voting then i prefer wordpress because i have always used it and familiar with it's plugins and features so i think so it's quite easy to use and i can search for any related help on google as well for wordpress.
