Hello guys, first of all sorry for this dumb "how much is it worth" thread but this is sort of a unique case because I couldn't find any information on it, so basically I found a domain and want to register it but it has a problem it's a .ru domain, which is not that popular

Here are the domain information

Extension: .ru
PageRank 6
DA 35
PA 46
TF 20
CF 26
External Backlinks: 20,000 (Not spammed, some high quality homepage edu backlinks and other high pr websites)
Domain age: 9 years
Domain Length: 7 characters

Again sorry for this post hope someone can evaluate this domain, and again this is by no means a sales thread so I hope I didn't break any rules.

Looks like a pretty quality domain. Is it indexed in any of the search engines? Definitely make sure of that before you buy. I have found some quality domains and paid a fair amount and then realized they were penalized even though the backlink profile was solid. Sometimes they can be re-indexed but then they don't rank well. But just based on what you have shown us it is probably worth a few hundred dollars..maybe up to $300. I wouldn't pay more than that even though its worth it because you could build one exactly like it for about that price. And you could do so on a .com, or even an emd that would rank really well in Bing and Yahoo. I personally try to profit from even my Tier2 links in a PBN if possible.

Also you said 20000 backlinks, how many Unique Domains?? That would change the price as well.

Myself, I would never buy it. Right now I do not have any projects where it would make any sense for a Russian site to be linking to it.

    That's me though.

If you are going to buy it, I would check and make sure the links actually exist. Majestic, Ahrefs, and Moz do a horrible job of telling you which links still exist today.

Legit PR 6's usually go for over $800 in most auction sites.

I'd buy it. I use foreign language sites all the time (if even for support links to link to other network domains) but boy with a RU site i would have to research it over and over again given the reputation for blackhat techniques. those guys get all kinds of legit looking links that they got by hacking into the servers.

Thanks for the replies, yeah it is indexed and I checked the backlinks, they look solid and real, well the domain itself is a famous organization is and it gets a lot of backlinks, from news sites for high edu profiles and so on

In that case, you better make sure the domain name is not a registered trademark. Otherwise you can have the domain taken from you by the trademark holder with no compensation.

PR is a worthless metric nowadays. Why would you even pay for the domain based on PR when the last update done was in December 2013? Pay for the quality of links not for the metrics.

based on the info you wrote and i will also check way-back machine and archive dot org and any other previous redirects to any other domain - if everything goes alright, i will pay $200.

Nothing because it's probably an ex sape domain, worthless... especially if you got hold of it for a cheap price. Hacked links IMHO..... I've got a few ex sape domains with the metrics you've got but I won't use them. Matt Cutts himself has got a patent dedicated to finding them...

I don't know how those Russians are doing it, but they have legitimate looking fake PR.

I would pay 30 bucks for it if you are trying to build a blog network and use it for Contextual Backlinks, but if you plan on building a long term project; stay away
