Is this enough traffic for my Niche? Keyword test results!

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about creating a product for a specific niche. I ran some test ads in Google Adwords with my main keywords, to get some idea of traffic. After 10 days my results were the following:

105 clicks

12,602 impression

1st Position

0.83% CTR (averaged)

Cost per click $1.68

Based on the number of impression (12,602) in a 10 day time period. Is that enough traffic (1260 a day) to proceed forward in developing a product for this niche?

Thanks!

That's more than enough. If there's money to be made, create the product and market it. The results of your test ads are promising, but conversion rate matters a lot. If a product similar to the one you are about to create already exists and there's an affiliate program available for it, I would drive those clicks to it to see how well the keyword converts clicks to purchases.

it really depends on your ROI / profit margin. some niches are obscure (say for example specialised mining equipment) and there may only be 100 searches a week for it, but if you are making $1000 profit per sale and you are making just 1 sale a week then even the tiniest keyword can make you $.

So next I would test conversions, if you have the clicks and you can convert them, and then make sure you are profitable then you have a winner.
