Hello Guys,

I have found a niche which seems to be good with less competition and good cpc. I have 6-8 longtail keywords from 3 - 5 words. I would like to know how to go about making a wordpress site. I don't mean to ask you how to make a website with wordpress but I just need to know after making the website how do I start adding content to it like add posts for each keyword and focusing mainly for that keyword on that post? and what do I post on the home page please?

Please shed some light on my questions.

Shouldn't you have thought about that before?

What the heck is a good niche? How on earth did you find
it? That part is just laughable.

Cannot be a serious question. Certainly does not require any serious
answer except: Go learn how to make a website and what the web is
    about.

My gosh...WP has just made anybdy think they can instantly become a
    webmaster.

      Well Sir,

I am learning to build niche sites. I found a niche which I think is good for ranking after researching using a few keyword research tools and guides from some experts who posted videos on Youtube. I do know how to make a website on wordpress but I wanted to know how do I proceed with adding content the correct way so that it has good on-page SEO.

I must have explained it properly but I am new on this forum or any forum to be honest and I don't know how to ask questions here.

      Thank you

Yeah ignore Paul, he's jaded and spends all his time here posting negative shit. Everyone has to start somewhere. Steps 1-7 listed above are accurate, just make sure you learn about avoiding onpage SEO penalties and diff. methods of link building.

Once you have your Wordpess site, all you just need to focus on is to install the necessary plugins. Wordpress is quite easy to learn and I suggest you go find some video tutorials on Youtube or perhaps on Udemy. There are also tons of blog and community sites teaching you how to do Wordpress and SEO.

    Good luck!

Have you created any content yet? And, do you have an established niche or did you only install the Wordpress site so far? If you don't have your niche, then you need to give that some serious thought as to what you want to write about. Then you should research it online to see what your competition is and what is already being said about it. That will influence what you write about once you begin to blog your posts.

It doesn't have to be a fixed post for your home page. Keep posting and the newers posts will appear first. Focus on your primary and secondary keywords in your content. The Primary KW will take center stage and the secondary KWs will automatically be a part of your content (that's how good content is written). But, don't make the mistake of stuffing KWs.

But ultimately you have to decide what to do with that niche.

In wordpress you can also sticky the blog posts so it will always be at the front page.
just tick the sticky box at the quick edit tab.

I usually sticky my product review in front. =D

    Hopefully that helps!
    Good Luck!

Read what the other sites posts and learn from them. That should tell you what you can write.

Also you might think you have got an easy competition but those sites could be really tough to beat, happened to me once. Got my hands in a heavily spammed niche and its so damn annoying when these F***ing spammers make parasite pages every other day that push your site down in rankings even if they are for a few days. Check page 2/3/4 to see what sites are like on those pages, if they are parasites pages or spammy then you just found yourself a terrible niche.

I would begin with video marketing by the way if its a less competition niche, much easier to rank than sites.

Depends on how big of a site you plan to build, small niche site or authority site. With only a few keywords, try to group them up and see which keywords can be targeted on the same page then go about creating your content.

It is much easier if you plan out your site structure before actually building your site. Take the extra time needed with keyword research and site structure and it should pay dividends for you in the future.

After finding a niche you should start search for the right keyword. Then start SEO for your site and also promote your product on social media. Promote your site efficiently and get lots of likes, views and real followers.

Find out all possible keywords around your main keyword. Add content for both easy and competitive keywords. Make sure your site is easy to browse and appealing so that you have a low bounce rate. Properly interlink, add posts every week. Build a list from the beginning and promote useful offers to them.

If it is an Amazon review website or affiliate website, you can use the homepage to target your main keyword and internal posts to target secondary keywords. Another method is letting your homepage remain the index page as it is by default and show your latest posts.

This is also the right method if you are building a blog, but I guess you are building a small niche site.

This is what always works for me:

      - Static homepage
      - Multiple categories, 2 or 3 at least I would say
      - 10 articles per category
      - solid internal linking
      - monetize half of the pages

      And build strong links.

This is a pretty good strategy, yet most people aren't willing to put that much time into a site. Def. recommended.
