How to Build Brand Value for My Website and Business? I have created many high PR backlinks for my website but still it is ranked on tenth page. It is so far away that users can't reach to it. What should I do now to get my site ranked in first 10 results?

      SEO is an ongoing game... it is very hard to reach Google position #1, and when You do that, You have to keep it, and rank other (potentially buying KWs).

      Though Matt Cutts often says that social media is no factor in ranking, I have seen many changes in ranking using social media together with other...
      It would be foolish to believe that Google+ doesn't bring any SEO value, especially when they try to compete with Fb and Tw.

      If I was You... I would for now (since it is a new site if I understood well) be chasing Google + a lot and a bit of other social media, and go slowly (very slowly) with backlinks of any kind. I would be more oriented on web 2.0 properties and maybe one press release and some submission to press release directories.

      Steady one wins the race (the set of words that helped me a lot in SEO ventures)

    Building high PR links only won't help you get to the first page. You need to diversify your link sources. If those high PR links are blogroll or footer links you should get some high PR blog posts and web 2.0 backlinks.

    Guest posts and press releases are also effective for diversification and increasing your rankings. Vary your anchor text as well and keep your usage of exact match anchor text minimal.

    Lastly, wait! Yes, wait, and continue building links at a slow rate. Ranking well in Google takes longer than it used to. Therefore, patience is now the name of the game.

    Well, I would say if you are trying to build a brand then concentrate more over the Facebook, Twitter and other social media network I don't think concentrating over the high PR backlinks or .... is going to make difference stand out by taking help from social network.

    Be an authority on what you do; that means build relationships like you would running an offline store.

    Don't use TOO many web 2.0s...

    You basically need 300 up to 500 BRAND links with anchors like : domainname, brandname, variations of keywords, broad terms, generic terms...

    Get them on Social Profiles, Web 2.0s and even some from your PBN...
