2 quick SEO/Google questions...

1) How long does it take until after you publish a blog post for it to be indexed by Google? 2) Is there someway to check where you rank in Google for the keyewords you were trying to rank for? Example say I was trying to rank for "Top 10 ways to train your dog." It'd obviously take a long time to Google those keywords and check page after page until you find your site, is there a faster way to know where you sit with Google? Thanks!

1) Anywhere from 30 seconds to Never.

You should leave it 24 hours and see if it's been indexed using site:yourdomain.com and finding the title of the blog post (or just searching for your exact title in quotes)

2) I use Search Engine Rank Tracking - White Label SEO Rank Tracker - its pretty cheap for what it is, there are many others out there, just google 'Rank Tracking'

I use this, and it works great for me. Just type in the URL of the page you want, the keyword, and click the green button to refresh the results. It'll spin for a few seconds and then tell you where you are.

1. It cant take up to 7 days for Google to see your post. if you can bookmark it , Google bot can crawl your post faster ..
