Had a site have this complaint, it's one of our own.

Not the usual link issue, nothing mentioned about links in the message.

Anybody know a company / individual who will go through the Google guidelines and this domain and see if they can find what Google is moaning about.

Thanks.

You didn't completely hide your url. It's still visible within the body of the message.

In order to help you, I would need a screenshot of the manual action message sent to you before you filed a reconsideration request. It's in that message that Google mentions why a site was penalized.

There's no other previous messages in webmaster tools other than what I've posted above.

I don't usually deal with this stuff, it's possible one of my partners deleted the message in webmaster tools or are you saying there's another method they send the site owner a message?

The body building site still has 518 pages indexed (for now).

The link profile has 24,000 spammy IM backlink sources.

Sorry, just noticed your comment about the spammy links..

I didn't even check link issues, typically it has a message that relates to links if it's links.

If that domain has spammy links, we sure as heck didn't add them, it's one of our very white hat sites.

Could that be the issue , don't they usually specifically state it's a link issue when it is?

Site is still fully indexed, it's just the reason for the rankings penalty that's the issue.

It doesn't even rank for it's own name anymore.

They obviously dont' hate it as site:name.com shows as you say, everything is fine.

Which is nothing new to us, in the past we've played the game and expected the fall out.

This site however is a clean site entirely, nothing untoward that we've done ourselves.

I'm essentially after somebody who has the time to wade through Googles guidelines and try and determine the problem , I don't have the time or inclination. Anybody recommend a good company for that?

I asked him earlier, he doesn't' remember, we have over 200 sites , so things can end up blending somewhat.

Is there any way to get an original message back?
