I'm a little confused with something when it comes to creating a PBN...

When building PR blogs for your private blog network is it better to focus the blog on one subject such as computers only? Or, can you use it for multiple subjects such as computers, cars, gardens etc?

Stick with one niche on everything you do, otherwise it's just a bunch of nothing going on.

Example, If I was selling car rims/tires on my money site I could have anything related to automobiles linking into my money pages/domains:

    Example, links from sites like:
    • import cars
    • classic cars
    • car repair
    • car restoration
    • kit cars
    • car image galleries
    • car classifieds
    • car clubs
    • car audio
    • etc...

Those types of sites are all related to automobiles. It's pretty much impossible to prove those types of links aren't traffic built backlinks since they're all focused on one niche (automobiles). Assuming you don't spam out the link profile or any other obvious footprint.

It's obvious spam to see a car rim/tire link on a weight watchers type site (example).

Thank you very much Yukon for your response! I've always respected your answers ever since I became a member.

I'm planning on creating my own PBN to get into the local SEO business. How many sites do you think is a good starting point before I can even think of getting clients?

First create PBN for your self, and when you will know whats working, than you can start taking clients. Don't trust just theory, you need to know inside of how it works before selling it.

          See this thread

As it represents the best way for a SEO to tie together separate niches while still looking fairly natural and organic.

That was a very good read. You really make a good point when it comes to making your blog posts ACTUAL blog posts made in the first person.

I never thought of that. When I look at my "real" sites I'm always using; I, We, Us.

What's really disheartening though is reading that finding quality domains are getting harder and harder to find.

Using a certain link injection technique, you can link to any site from any PBN blog on any topic. Visit this url and use ctrl+f to search for 'link inject' if you want to learn more PBN Link Building Answers: Anchor Text, To Which Pages, How Many, How Often and For How Long? | NoHatSeo.com - Keyword Research, Link Building and other SEO goodness. .

That is a little cart before the horse. WHy are you building the PBN? Is to churn and burn for a spammy niche? TO provide as a service for local clients? To help you rank a ecommerce store you own? Your goal should define the type of network you are building.
