Your knowledge is bad but then the anchor text signature links is a dead give away of that as well.

Those places are completely usless for true backlinks. Just because some page
has what looks to be http ://blahblahblah, in no way, shape, or form, means google
        sees it as a "backlink."

social bookmark, rss, profile, pdf, etc. are for the most part, invisible to any
googlebot counting backlinks. Notice I said invisible backlink, not invisible.

Don't listen to the guy that just posted.

All of the links you just mentioned are low quality and penalties get rolled out for over optimization for those kind of links every day.

You can thank the disavow tool that made it super simple for Google to crowdsource these domains and link sources.

The easier the link is to get these days generally the more damage they can do.

  • Dont bother wasting your time with any of those, the pdf and document sharing sites can be beneficial if you have something good to share.

Well, I guess someone told you the correct thing but in an inappropriate way. Look getting backlinks by taking the help of blackhat techniques is considered as spamming and it can get you on trouble but i think if you create the backlinks in a natural way then they are not going to hurt you. Previously what people are doing is they just create the link for the sake of creating links they are posting the link just to get the backlink, so for all the people doing the same gets hurt real bad, but the people who aren't involve in such just didn't have any effect.

No, not at all. Web 2.0 is the best source for getting backlinks. You can get lots of traffic from Web 2.0. Social bookmarking is also good if it is done on high PR sites.

I am only against RSS Link Promotion and rest are the best as my experience I have made 5 bookmarks and like 25 web 2.0 and bring my website 9 keyword on first 3 pages. so I think these are not bad.

Other than Web 2.0 Articles and PDF Submissions, I doubt any other technique can help you in the long run.

It is also advised not to focus too much on a single link building technique. Use a variety of legit linking techniques and stay safe from spammy ones.

    Good day,

They are not 'bad locations', and they do have a use when used in the right way, some of them more than others.

      Keep telling yourself that.

If that's your idea go ahead and spend $100 on link building services from Fiverr. Don't choose them based on any logic and choose the first 20 you see.

Report back in a few months on how theres no such things as bad links. I think you may be preaching a different tune then.

There is nothing wrong with links. What there is a problem with is abusing those sites to post links on. You can spam them and then use similar keywords and you can't do it all in one go. What looks better? A natural build up of links over a long period of time with varying keywords on different platforms or a sudden burst of links over a few days that all use the same keywords and all appear on similar sites?

It depends. For example, many people think that social bookmarking submissions are dead or harmful for SEO but I don't think so. You just don't need to submit your sites to every social bookmarking sites you juts need to submit your sites to several high quality sites like delicious, reddit, stumbupon and so on. One more note: don't ever submit your sites to auto-approved web directories.

The problem here is how a recently created page on a bookmarking site or any other Web2.0 property won't have much authority with Google. However, if you could find a page that is several years old and get a link there, it might be worth more to you.
