Hey Guys,

This is my first post of warriorforum

I'm a bum marketer and have been direct linking for 3 months now. I was able to earn a total of almost $1000 in those 3 months writing 10 - 15 articles a day, but later I heard that landing pages will help convert better.

Now, here is my problem. I'm able to write well but I don't know what kind of content to be put on my landing page.

The first landing page i setup had a CTR of just 2% I don't know what to do.

What kind of content should I write to landing pages? Any examples please?

Help me guys! I need some serious training from you here ..

Thanks a lot in advance

You write content based on what the searcher would want to see... on a relevance level. If you are bidding on the keyword "antivirus reviews"... you would write a page about that.

The easiest way to find some good examples is to go to ezinearticles.com and do a search for articles in your niche and click on the link in the bio box. You should find all kinds of examples of landing pages. many of them may even be targeting the same CB product as you.

That really a good strategy to spot a decent landing page..why am I never thought of it.

Because I am promoting a product but all my competitor were using the direct linking or link cloaking method...thus I have very hard time to write a decent landing page because i can't any reference of it.

The title in your article is all important. Without a title that pulls the visitor in, it doesn't matter how good your article is, they may not click to it. Also, in places like ezinearticles, the category you submit your article to can make a huge difference in the CTR. You will have to experiment a bit to find the right one.

At the end of the article try offering a free bonus related to the topic of the article if they visit your page. Once there, get them to opt in to your list and push them to the vendor's sale page.

Direct linking can work, but you are giving up two huge, huge things by doing that. First, you don't have the opportunity to opt-in subscribers to your list as you do on a landing page. In the long run that is a big deal.

Second, with a landing page you have the opportunity to offer bonuses to encourage visitors to buy through your link.

One thing many people with landing or pre-sell pages do is to try to tell too much about the product. That's not good. You object isn't to inform the visitor about every detail of the product--your goal must be to:

    1. get visitors to opt in to your list
    2. convince them you have an incredible bonus if they buy through your link
    3. push them to the vendor's sales page where they will get the hard sell

That's why they call them pre-sell pages. You job is not to sell, it's to pre-sell. That means giving visitors a compelling reason to click on to the vendor's sales page.

One other thing. Don't fall into the trap of making statements on your landing page like, "Get $1,995 of free bonuses when you order through my link." People do that and then offer junk PLR stuff that's been around for a decade.

Every time I see a scam claim like that I think, "If your bonus is worth $1,995, why aren't you selling that instead of the $17 product you are pushing here?"

    Create a substantial, high-quality bonus.

If you use google adwords when advertising, make sure you have sitemap, terms of service, about the author, disclaimer, etc on your landing page., This will increae your quality score and decrease the cost of your bids.
