dear fellow wso érs.....

could you please help me out with some questions about real organic search
volumes for keywords/exact match domains with dashes in them?

so im asking you now. how on earth could i get real organic monthy search volume for keywords that have dashes in them?

example in google adwords planner if you type in mens t shirts or mens t-shirts you will get the same answer but you know that is a lie.

dont enter mens tshirts since that is not a real word or term and not many should type it in that way so just use as above. exactly as i have spelled out.

you can get a different result if you use mens tshirts but nobody types it in without a space or a dash at least proper english states they should not. but most are uneducated and thus slang prevails?

what if menstshirts.com is taken but menst-shirts.com is available? how do we know if it is worthy of buying if we can't see the true organic exact match keyword search volume for it?

same with 3d phone vs. 3-d phone. 3dphone.com is taken but 3-dphone.com is available. how can we find its true organic typed in search volume for google and or google plus all of its partners i use international since fed ex ships everywhere!

how about v-neck t-shirts vs. v neck t shirts?

i want the real numbers. any clues for me?

i need to know if the keyword is worthy enough search volume wize to put on my list of possible domains to buy. dont worry i will do competition and more due dilligence after i get true search volumes.

all the dot com words are already taken so i am forced to go after keywords with dashes in them.

is a .com keyword with a dash or two better than same keyword .net with zero dashes?

google is not out to help any of us. they lie and have their own agenda. AGREE?

You are too paranoid. Google doesn't lie about keyword search volumes for keywords with dashes and keywords without dashes because they are both treated as one and the same keyword. If any keyword contains a symbol that isn't significant to Google, it's excluded before being processed. So, for example, when you type in 't-shirts', it is processed as 't shirts'.

Avoid domain names with dashes in them. Buy brandable domains instead.

      That makes no sense.

      That makes even less sense.

You people need to stop worrying about domains, and start worrying about hard work.

Why is it only IMers give a hoot about domains, hyphen or not?

Your visitors could care less. No hyphen does not make an authority site, nor
      the opposite.

You people live on another planet.

I would imagine quite a few people search for 3-d and 3d. But who cares?

If you think hyphens in a domain are bad, then you also MUST think that hyphens
in urls are also bad. And that is sheer lunacy on both fronts.

They are neither good or bad. Unless, you have a domain that cries out for one.

I have some dashed domains and I can't see any favor from Google. But I see some dashed domains in the first page of Google. At the end of the day I think it is about backlinks and social signals.

You seriously need keyword data for a hyphen domain name?

    Here's the data: 0.0

Nobody uses a hyphen when searching Google.
