Here is my website:

Scrap Your Trash - Making It EASY To Recycle - Home - Scrap Your Trash

My website is in the search engine when I type "Scrap Your Trash" (Exact Phrase), but none of my web PAGES won't show up when I search for any of the keywords I put into my Weebly Pages "Meta Keywords" Tab(From my Dashboard)

Here were some of the keywords I used (and these all had a relatively high monthly search of 300 to 2000 searches per month using Google Adwords Keyword Tool) "trash removal", "pickup service", "scrap metal recycling", "waste removal", "gold recovery"

After I put these keywords in, I went to Google Webmasters and verified my website, and Fetched as Google" for my home page, our location, facts about recycling page, and my articles pages.

A day or so later...

I really have no idea why none of my pages come up on the first page. I went to google and typed these phrases in and I don't see them coming up.

Get your own domain, for a start. That is honestly the best advice you're going to receive right now.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Does your site have any backlinks? If you want to show up for even decently searched terms, you have to build links to your site.

Also, meta keyword tags are useless. They don't help your site go up in the SERPs so the fact that you added them doesn't mean you will rank for the keywords you added.

If you want to give your site a better chance of ranking for those keywords, include them in your title (don't keyword-stuff your title though) and content.

      Hi,

Are you sure the backlinks are a good idea? I purchased a domain name purely for the fact it has over 80000 backlinks and I found out that despite this, it has 0 visitors per day - each and every day.
Probably it is very important how we build those backlinks.
I also consider using some of the keywords in the titles is a good idea.

On-page SEO is very important. You have to do it right, getting your own domain would help a lot. You should buy your won domain and get a web hosting service. You can eassily build your wbesite in wordpress or any other CMS. Or you could get help from a web developer.
Website structure, design and content plays very important role in rankings. So you must try to do them right.

Yeah I have to agree with others. You need your own domain. Then look at on page SEO, then off page SEO.

First find low competitive keywords inside your niche to rank for.

But don't ignore meta description it is very useful, even Google takes meta description from your main content to match the query...

Simply, consider maximum numbers of SEO elements, to get higher ranking...

Ok.... What about meta descriptions. Should I add them?

How many keywords should I be ranking for on each page of my website? How do I do on page SEO with a web page for more than one keyword?

Thank you for all your answers so far.

You are talking Business SEO - it is 5-10x slower than Technical SEO. It all comes down to the organic visitors per $1 - at the highest levels you get 25-30 per $1 - the corporates. The more money Google see your throwing at it the more chance you have of ranking higher faster - some consultants launched a test site on $2,100/mth clusters and had the products ranking next to Amazon & eBay in 6wks.

After that you have time which offsets the cost, this is want 95-99% of small businesses use, in effect the cost is the same as it is your time and experience. Remember, you are comepeting wordwide with people with very deep pockets and decades of experience - you can game Google short term but if you don't revert to the 1-30 visitors per $1 they will delist you. All very simple. The detail of how to do it - that comes down to how much time and money you want to throw at it along with how much experience you have - without that information it is a guessing game.

GWT is the thing you should avoid (((:

You need backlinks to rank your keyphrases on the 1st page, the good ones, 1st tier should consists of top contextual platforms only like wordpress.com blog.com ,etc.

Then boost them in 2nd and 3rd tiers.

Like others have said, you need your own domain name. This will increase your credibility and help you with SEO. Once you buy a domain, you can install a free WordPress theme and then add content. It's really simple and inexpensive. If you're serious about SEO, having your own domain is a must.

Putting keywords in your meta is no longer a factor in seo. Try to read more modern seo techniques - stuff like backlinks do actually move the needle significantly for most of the keywords.
