Ok, I want to get the number one spot for a certain keyword in my niche. The number one spot on google is a PR4 wikihow page, with 5 backlinks. Number 2 spot is some random page with PR3 and like 7 backlinks, the competition after that is pretty weak. This keyword gets about 900,000 searches per month and I think definitely is a converting keyword for what I want to do with it. How hard would this keyword be to beat? Appreciate any insight, thank you.

You probably don't want to share the keyword, but by the sounds of it, it should be relatively easy to rank for it.

Have you looked into possibly utilising a video, news or image search listing? This is always a fast way to get ranked number 1.

Check out my rankwarrior manuscript for more info on blended search.

    thanks

Can anyone else shed some light on this as well?

      Thanks
