How is this achieved for a website in Google?
Gyazo - bbe92e9cf2442f0f60e43fc3e5986670.png

I add google analytics, webmaster tools etc, submit the title to Google, yet when I type the company name into Google, it still only shows *****.co.uk and it's like... listed third?

How do I rank it to the top strongly for when a user types in the business name on Google? It's a unique name.

Thanks, all help is appreciated!

Sitelinks is the term you're looking for. https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/47334?hl=en

No one knows exactly what criterias you have to pass to get sitelinks for a term, but on-page seo is an obvious factor. Clearly structured websites with logical paths will help. My own theory is that google also takes into account factors like the click through rate when the keyword comes up on google. Chances are if someone googles the company name, they're looking for the company website, which means the ctr is probably quite close to 100.

Having said that, I've never had a problem with a business not getting sitelinks for their business keyword. Might also be worth listing it on google places, and claiming the business.

Your website simply isn't strong enough. You need to get some quality links pointing to the site. And if it's a local business, do some citations!!!

It is when google defines you are so dominent for certain term that they give inner pages more spaces for that term, because they know your domain contains several relevant keywords.

Build links to the site using the business name as anchor text.

Any site is eligible for site links like that. Has nothing to do with some of the nonsense
above. Has nothing to do with other pages with relevant stuff, or crazy things like using
      your business as some anchor.

The links given are normally for more popular pages that people surf for. They normally
do not show links like that for a specific term, but when one is searching for a
      particular website.

Like the difference between searching for warriorforum and a specific topic/thread
      found on the warrior forum.

That's called Mega Sitelinks (not regular Sitelinks), each one of those pages is an authority page. It's pretty much internal/external links + relevancy.

Look at the backlink profiles (ahrefs, etc...) for each one of those individual internal pages/URLs listed under the main page in the SERPs.

BTW, it's not uncommon to see Mega Sitelinks for brand name or domain name keywords, even for mediocre sites. The reason that happens is because each site builds up the most authority for their brand/domain name on the net, example, Apple isn't going to plaster the keyword Microsoft all over apple.com.

Build back links for your website name and keywords and be patient, it takes time.
