How much per click? CPP CPC?

Just started using Google Adsense for my site... some of the keywords are like £9 for page 1! do people really pay this....how can they seriously afford that! i've gone for 50p per click and i will have to see how my results come in but i don't know how some of these websites can justify that kind of cost for a single click!:confused:

    I too have seen these keywords that are huge money per click. And I am sure that the people that pay that amount have a way to recap that money but for myself, I never go after those keywords.

    I try to stay around .50 -.75 per click and when doing this, I have found quite a few keywords that I can turn a profit from. It just takes a bit more research and time.

    I do see though that as my revenue grows from this I am able to pay more and more per click. It will just take time.

    Just remember not to break the bank on day one. Let it grow over time and as it grows, you will be able to increase the amount that you spend on PPC.
