hey guys, there is a blog in my country which is always on PR1 page when I'm searching anything releated to computing.. how is this possible? isn't this seen as spam by Google? This blog I've found is getting about 3 milion views per month, also the blogger says on his linkedin that he made a program to find the keywords he needs to generate more new keywords..

I guess he's using something like market samurai or long tail pro? How can he find lots of keywords and how can He and his blog be on Top of PR1 google searches about computing?! Which SEO strategy is he using? I'd like to know because I'm getting pissed off with this blog I can't rank well my own one about computing lol

What is this PR1 page you speak of? I know what PR 1 is, I know what Page 1 in google is but not a mixture of the 2... I think you're getting confused.

Chances are, his sites just a lot better than yours SEO wise. His articles are stronger than yours so he ranks higher than yours. He's probably an authority in the niche. Have you checked his backlink profile? Have you checked how many indexed pages he has?

yes it's authority site. PR1 is page rank 1. He got many visitors and fans and high quality articles. Website has been up for about 10 years lol... he worked hard but then he got results

Well I don't understand what you're asking then... he's got a better website than you, with high quality articles, established for 10 years and you're getting annoyed that he's ranking high than you?

If he's only got PR1 pages, then that is not authority and should be beaten relatively easily. There is a huge difference between page rank 1 and ranking on the first position for a keyword

Page ranks don't have that much to do with SERP's rankings.

They may be one small factor, but we can all see for ourselves, from the ever-increasing regularity with which lower-PR pages are outranking higher-PR pages in Google's SERP's, that they're clearly not very important at all.

(And that's just if I've understood your question correctly, which is by no means certain! ).

(You realise that "PR-1" and "the first page of Google's SERP's" are two totally different things??).
