The page names are the titles, aren't they?

To tell Google what titles to display in the SERPs, use an SEO plugin like "WordPress SEO" or "All in One SEO Pack".

Most of the time Google will show the title that's declared in the title tag - if you're using WordPress for your site, that will be whatever you put in the box that initially says "Enter title here".

But if Google's computer program thinks it can devise a better title, it will ignore yours and use whatever it comes up with instead.

If you've got an entry in Dmoz (Open Directory) or Yahoo Directory then Google will use the title they've used unless you include a meta tag to tell it not to.

Double check that you have a title tag in each of your pages.

But if you're searching for your website name there's a good chance that's why Google are changing the titles.

If you want to see what's in the index, use site: immediately followed by your URL (no space between the colon and the URL)

Try to regenerate sitemap once again and upload it in your website. If you have a webmaster account, add site in it. This will ensure the search engine to reconsider it.
