Penguin or something else ...?

Anyone think penguin updates are going on now or something else?

Algoroo Algorithm changes seem high. Question is if this is penguin rolling out or maybe even something else and/or tests, etc....

    Occasionally, Google will come out with a ground shaking algorthim such as Penguin. However, most times, they make tiny little tweaks that help enhance the Google search user's experience. If something is going on in search, it's likely a small change for the benefit of the user. Though there was a pretty big rumble a few days ago according to your source. So maybe all these tiny rumbles are a signal of a big earth quake coming.

    Maybe not penguin but definitely something. Some reports of sites that are back from the dead. Maybe panda.

    It looks like it could be be partly penguin, maybe panda too but I'm pretty sure Google announces it when they actually launch it full on. It does seem like something is being tested or worked on. Maybe Penguin is on the verge of being released sometime soon.

      Seems there was a small Panda like change that rolled back last night or adjused.

      I know cause a number of my affiliate sites dropped and re-gained their rankings while other affiliate sites of mine that aren't complete and thus still deal with Panda issue's dropped a little further.

      All link building done is about the same for all my affiliate sites.

      Anyway, nothing to worry that much about and if you dropped you can fix it by making your site less thin, eg more content rich, content above the fold, well structured etc.
