The other day I found a few broken links on the federal reserve website and sent them an e-mail about them and mentioned my site too as it has articles on some issues that can be relevant on their site,
They e-mailed back saying thanks for the correspondance but they did say they cannot provide a hyperlink from their site to mine which is too bad. It does seem like the technique to find broken links really has potential though.
