MAGENTO - How To Move Individual Product Pages to Subdirectory

Busy optimizing a Magento web shop and due to the thin nature of the product pages I want to noindex them, preferably with robots.txt and then using the URL removal tool.
However the product pages aren't present under a sub directory.
The category pages are, URL like: http://magento.com/category/category-name.php
Product pages URL like: http://magento.com/this-is-a-product-page/
How can I move all products to a sub directory different then the category sub directory as I don't want to deindex those categories.
If there's another solution I haven't thought of then please let me know.
