Why doesn't panda updates hit sites like Amazon?

If they have scraped content shouldn't some of their rankings be hit as well?

Does Google put in special filters to protect corporations?

Seems like a scandal waiting to happen or does domain authority help this too?

Also do you think anyone at Google what tank a site for talking smack about them or do they not care?

Cheers

I think you have it backwards, usually Amazon is the one being scraped by affiliates.

Yeah you use a bad example, would be better if you replace Amazon with something like Nextag, which has zero unique content and is heavily over monetized.

Sure their purpose is to provide price comparisons but what sense does that make when Amazon turns out to be the cheapest 99 out of 100 times.
