Hi there. I've just registered a dropped domain that have some high quality backlinks to it. Whats the best method to get the juice to my ecommerce site?
Options:

a) 301 Permanent redirect to main page
b) Blank page with a static link with anchor to main page
c) Random anchor text and links for categories updated on every page refresh
d) Blog with some articles and intext links?

I do not know what this site was about (if that matters) and cant guess from domain name.

Thank you in advance!

    Hey Kociboss,

On the dropped domain, put up a blog. Write 3-4 articles related to the subject of your money site. Those 3-4 articles should have outbound links, with relevant keywords, to your money site.

To capture most of the juice, you can try to re-create the site structure of the dropped domain.

Example, if you have a lot of backlinks going to droppedomain.com/2012/blog/post1/ i would re-create that path to capture the juice going there.

There is also a plugin (The name escapes me) that can capture all that juice by redirecting things like droppedomain.com/2012/blog/post1/ to your main page. This saves you time since you dont have to re-create the whole site structure.

A tool like MajesticSEO will show you where the juice is going (where the backlinks are linking to)

Yep im using the majestic seo, however i can see that this wasnt a blog. Anyway listening to more opinions. In fact i wouldnt really care about the visitors they'll be irrelevant for my money site, i only need the ranking factor.

The plugin's name, I believe, is Link Juice Keeper.

Develop it into a blog related to what it used to be before. I don't recommend a redirect in this case.
