2 links on the same page, 1 nofollow

From what I can gather, relevant in-context text links are way better than image links, particularly ones that might be site wide (sponsor/blogroll links).

If I were to sponsor a particular blog and get an image link sitewide in a sponsors sidebar area, but also to get a few text links in some posts, would it be better to nofollow the image link?

What would be any potential negatives to having a nofollowed sitewide image link that might be on the same page as a quality in-text link?

I want to try and preserve any link juice I can get, and also not end up with potentially hundreds/thousands of links from the same domain, but have concerns that by nofollowing on the same page, I might harm the good text link in some way.

interlinking within your site shouldnt be a concern as the link juice remains INSIDE the site. you can put do follow links on anchor texts and no follow links on the images. I donot think that there will be "any potential negatives to having a nofollowed sitewide image link"

If the two links are on different keywords/key phrases then make the less likely keyword no-follow link.
