Looking to get ranking under the search term: "company reviews"

The site has good authority and has been established for years.

It has a page with reviews but the page is called testimonials and it has the word testimonial throughout the page.

Would it be better to rename the current page to reviews and everywhere on the page change testimonials to review?

or create a new page with the same reviews but name the page reviews and use the word reviews throughout the new page?

Thanks Ron

The reason I'm asking is the term, company testimonials doesn't get any searches but company reviews does.

So which would you do rename (and optimize for reviews) the current testimonial page or create a new optimized page?

    thanks Ron

I'd create the new page and optimize it. Then get rid of the old page and redirect it's url to the new page.

I would leave the old page intact.

Build a new 2nd page & use the old established page as an internal keyword anchor-text link pointing at the new page.

Definitely don't remove or change anything on the existing page. If anything, create a new page, but do not use the same content as it would simply be duplicate content / spammy.

Add content to the new page and redirect the older one to the new.

    There are two ways:

    1. Create New page with quality content and create internal linking from old page to new page

    2. Create New page with quality content and do 301 redirect from old page to new page, so you will not have old page but all the authority of old page will transfer to new page

Create a new page and rename what you need to rename, then redirect the old page to the new page, use 301 permanent redirect.
