MS Bing says they are going to add tweets from twitter.
Do we need more garbage in search results?
I can't imagine why I need tweets in my results.
Great for twitter, but what is the need?
I hope it's a separate thing and not in normal
results. I hope if google does this, it will be done
the right way. Is there going to be a whole new
SEO for tweets?

I actually think that if it's done right, this is gold, not garbage.

There are only a few people that understand how to search tweets effectively. It's the complete opposite than looking for website keywords. And one of the reasons is that there are no keyword research tools for tweets and their statistics.

Once I understood what to look for in tweets I've grown my targeted list tenfold. But I did that by trial and error. If Bing gives us tools to find keyword statistics on tweets, then I believe we'll be headed for a new keyword goldrush the likes we all know from website keyword research. And this will be the basis for a bunch of new keyword tools aimed specifically at tweets.
I for one will be a first mover to write a tutorial about how to use these new statistics as a marketer's advantage.

Of course, if Bing messes up and doesn't do this correctly.... then we, as marketers, will have a harder time on twitter

I totally agree because this must be a good step by bing and yet another try to beat google lol but yes this must be done very clearly and correctly and i hope they will do it because it will be great loss for both bing and twitter if not done correctly
      Thanks
