He guys,

I got two websites one in English and the other one in Dutch. Now I want to copy my dutch pages also to my english website. Will this influence SEO rank because the content is not orginal anymore?

Thanks in advance

All the best

Based on my experience, not very likely. But it is possible.

If the sites aren't huge, maybe merge? website.com/en or website.com/nl or something like that.

If you want to keep them both apart there's nothing to worry about.

If you feel like it's dropping your rank and you want this two sites to be as one just us but keeping the English version for English readers while it can still be read in dutch use hreflang but make sure they have the same domain name. lol

I hope you got my point.. I have poor ways of explaining things.. hahaha

As there is two different language and content so there is no 100 duplication on same.

I'm sorry for not explaining correctly,

      I got two domainnames, A and B
Now I want to copy the exact page with same language etc from domain A to the second domein B. In order to try to get two webdomeins in googles top ranking.

This will mean that both domains will have the same content and language. Only domein B is mostly/mainly english (index page etc), but only a few pages are in dutch like domain A.

I hope it's more clear now. But I think it's probably better to change the content when copyingto domain B.

Yes, i get your point you are just trying to copy the entire contents in Domain A to B without affecting the Page SEO right? I am sure that it will affect the seo ranking because of content duplicates suspected by google.

If the (same) contents are served in different language, it probably should not have any (or major) impact of duplication.

Could cause DUP content issues, better off keeping them separate.

I don't see the benefit in doing this. You can rank both versions all on one site. In fact that would probably be easier. I think it would affect your Google Ranking. Why do you want to rank two different sites with the same content?

more than one language in one website, it is not too good for SEO ranking. I think we should keep as it 's now.

I cannot believe (once again) the idiotic replies in this thread.

Has nothing to do with hurting ranking or dupe content.
Nothing. Sometimes you people just make me cringe.

Seriously. Different domain does not mean shinola.

Wikipedia uses a different subdomain for languages...

And google tells you now to have a mobile site, so I hope you
people forget having a mobile version to go along with a regular
site for same the same idiotic reasons you give above.

Let's see....google has a zillion websites, different domains,
same stuff, for virtually every country....ditto with amazon, et. al.

      You people slay me.

Of course the ranking for the .com could and should go down on searches
made from google.nl, but who cares? The other one should go up. Same traffic.
      Isn't that the point?

Since it's only 2, I would just forward the english site to the dutch site for
any visitor from that region, if that's really what you want.
