How to get affiliate site to rank

Hi,
I am running an affiliate shop/product search engine (woocommerce) with around 9k products. That are possibly 9k sites to rank in google right? I got all the onsite Seo like Title, description, <h1>, schema.org, etc. According to webmaster tools there are 7.941 sites indexed by google. But my Seo tool says I rank for none of them? One problem is, theres is only a very short product description >> few text on every product page. But I can't write text for 9k products.
What would you do to get those pages to rank in Google?
