Yeah, the past 7 days has been pretty great I've got to say.

I moved the majority of my sites to the post-hummingbird model I laid out a year ago on my blog and ever since this last Panda I've gotten an enormous boost in unique visitors and total views.

Additionally, despite being the end of the month several sites have hit their highest sales/conversions to date as a result. Today was yet another record setting day for the sites operating in that 'Generation' or model for me so I'm sitting pretty on this trend.

I've been out of the online loop since the panda update back in the day now, what are some bullet points on changes that have been noticed since then? Obviously, social networking is more prevalent in the serps than they used to be but what else?

It's social merely prevalent in the minds of the masses, but hardly nothing to do with ranking.

They've added more snozzberries.

Really, if the last thing you updated yourself on in terms of SEO was the first few iterations of panda then I would spend more time focusing on what Hummingbird does because you will need to understand how a query is pulled apart and reassembled if you intend to rank a page for those (variety of) terms.

Panda is more about text content and 'quality signals' which basically boil down to things like embedded interactive elements, text elements, etc. It's a really stupid simple little algo at this point that I don't even pay attention to other than just knowing to include functions & features within a page that humans like. Silly humans.....
