Social networks play good role to get more traffic. So you should focus on sharing on social networks like Facebook, twiiter, pinterest, google plus, stubleupon etc. Also ping url.

Yep. I think social will have a larger part to play in 'news' and 'media' traffic in the future. Search answers specific queries right e.g. shopping but social is definitely the way news will be shared.

Connect your blog to the major social networks using Buffer or similar. Even Wordpress should make this straight forward for you. One tip; don't rule out the likes of Google+, even the so called lesser social networks have passionate niche audiences who may enjoy your content.

hi, if you want to improve your ranking, social bookmarking and sharing are good.
But if you want more income, try to rank for US or SG or other developed countries, it's very hard to monetize Indian traffic.

You need visitors to your website. For this purpose you can use social site and blog comment.If possible you can try facebook campaign.

Social Networks are good if you have a content which is so attractive to go "viral" ,forget about if you don`t (: in such case it will be waste of money and time only.

Stay away from places like fiverr if you looking for social signals, 99,99% social signals is a crap, from ghost profiles. Only promoting your site youself in social media pays off.

But ,the most cost and time effective way is SEO, or paid advertising if you can afford it try the media buys - buysellads, PPC etc.

Hi,

If you want to rank your blog, why not focus on a few local keywords which are relevant to your blog. If you don't want to create a link building strategy then you can use social bookmarketing, forums, blogs, etc.

However, focus on a few keywords. For example, it seems as though you are targeting the "technology" side of things in Pakistan. Focus on "internet pakistan", tech pakistan", etc

However, you'll need to perform some research to find out what people are searching but local SEO is NOT as tough as world wide. Let me know if you have keywords in mind and I can check out a few statistics for you.

Is your blog optimised for any keywords or are you just publishing content without keyword research? If you are ready to start getting significant traffic from Google, follow these tips:

- Henceforward, make sure every article you publish on your site has a target keyword. Before you publish a new piece of content, do some keyword research and find a low competition keyword that is relevant to the article and optimise the article for it. You can also look for low competition keywords first and use them as topics for your articles.

- Build quality links to each new article you publish. Build quality links equates to avoiding spammy sites while building links.

Lastly, optimise your blog's homepage for one target keyword as well (that will become your primary keyword).

You should generate high quality and relevant backlinks from a local Pakistan Country website and also submit your blog in local Pakistan listing that will help you get top ranking in Pakistan country,

I read some articles on ranking for specific/local countries. Some tips that I remembered are:
- it is better for hosting the website from server running the country that you want to rank for
- it is better if the content is written in the language of the country.
- have country TLD domain.

Hi. Very nice website you created. I would, as other Warriors suggest, use Social Media traffic to get more visitors. This can be done for free also on Facebook it self and fast.

I would use:

Google Alerts - To find blogs, videos ect. who talk about what your site is about.
FB Notes - To build an email list for a newsletter, and begin to monetize your site even more
RebelMouse
Ibotoolbox

This will get you traffic. Also i would think that "Just About Pakistan" narrows your targeted audience down to people from Pakistan. It might be one of your problems.

I know there is a lot of interesting things on your site we all use, but with that title someone might be thinking...I´m not interested in Pakistan, so I will not visit that site.

But it´s a great site with a lot of interesting content.

Focus on a few keywords and try and rank them through normal SEO tactics.
Carry out a research to see what keywords related to technology in Pakistan are being search for by people in Pakistan (being your target area).

You can use Google Keyword Planner for the keyword research. Once you establish there is enough search for a particular keyword, write a blog post to include the identified keywords. Go ahead an rank these keywords. Simple thing you can do is bookmarking the use of PR
