Could not agree more. Just as I allude to this concept also. Target lots of keywords. Research your keywords. Definitely re-purpose your videos by simply changing length.

Well first off not all keywords will have videos associated with them. If a given keyword doesn't have a video or videos in the SERPS, it's probably not a good idea to try to rank it in the SERPS....
