Are You Related To a Royal?

I've met lots of people that want to know about their genealogy. My grandparents (on my Mom's side) used to tell us that we were descended from both Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee.

My guess is that they believed this, but alas...I'm not descended from either of them. A cousin spent lots of time putting together our family history, and she told me.

I was never curious to find out about anyone beyond my Grandparents. I don't even really know my nationality.

I don't know about Royals, but I'm certainly related to some royal dumbasses.

I,m pretty sure al my ancestors a few hundred years ago where Irish potato farmers who either came here before or just after the civil war

Actually, everything I can state is I don't know exactly. There is a chance that I and my family are somehow related to royal, nevertheless I must spend lots of time to figure this out. In my opinion, it's a very interesting thing and it requires lots of time to know about it. It's good when you grandparents tell you that you're related to royal. Anyway, it won't bring you any benefits. It's just an information I think. Of course, it's pretty pleasant to figure this out, but there is no any kind of practical application of this knowledge.
