BEST ONLINE RESOURCES

Hi, This is a 24 page report a wrote primarily for newcomers (but have been told by a few more experienced people that they found one or two nuggets in it that they were not aware of).

It contains links to some of the best tools on the net to help them with marketing. People here may be a little more experienced than the typical crowd, but I want to make it available in case there is a little bit of helpful info.

Almost all the tools are free, and when available I have listed resources for both Mac and PC. There are just a few tools that are not free, and have affiliate links.

If this looks like it might help you or there might be one or two items of benefit, then please enjoy. You may give it away or share it around, but please do not edit it or break it into pieces.

I am glad that people are liking this. One thing to keep in mind is that we can have all the tools i the world, but we need to put them to use.

I am hoping that if everyone who finds some tools in the report that will help their business, that they put them to use right away! In order to succeed, we do need the right tools, but we also need to use them. Taking action is sometimes the hardest part of all this, but once we start taking action, the momentum will keep moving us forward and it gets easier and easier to take more and more action as time goes on.

I have been using free open source tools on some of my own websites. They are totally free offering live chat application, email marketing, forums and others. to be honest I'm scratching my head how they afford offering support on all these tools for free application as open source? the site is called common100.com

  I am glad everyone is finding a lot of value in these. Don't forget that you are welcome to hand this out. Especially if you are just getting started in the IM niche, it makes a good giveaway to start a list. At some point, though, make sure you are using your own handouts. You may not copy this one, but you may use it a as template for your own handout, just be sure to keep it original and put it in your won "style".

When you start out trying to make money on the internet you do it for one reason - you need money or you want more time for yourself. Either way, the only solution to your problem is to market your business correctly to a hungry audience. But, you have no cash, right? No worries because if you know what you are doing then you can use free marketing tools for your business and achieve the same result. It may take longer than paid methods but how bad do you really want it? Let's get started...

Blog - The first free marketing tool you should use is a blog. This is one of the best free marketing tools because the search engines LOVE blogs. And, all you have to do is go to blogger, sign up for an account and post an article or two. If you do a good job of creating articles wrapped around pertinent key words then you will get indexed fast and traffic will start knocking on your door!

Article Writing - This is by far one of the best free marketing tools for growing your business. The key here is to dedicate yourself to write a minimum of 15 articles per month, wrapped around your niche's keywords. After doing this all you need to do is post them at one of many submissions sites and soon your article will get indexed. The key here is to put your "author's signature block" in each article that tells who you are, what you do and points back to your website. This is a GREAT foundational method.

Forum Postings - This is the third best method for getting your message out and is one of the easiest free marketing tools around. I found this was a quicker, organic way to advertise my website. The way it works is to identify at least five forums that are wrapped around your niche. Then, sign up for an account at each. Finally, fill out your "signature block" and make sure you put a link back to your website. Now you are ready to get started.

From here, your job is to find at least five topics per forum that you want to make a comment about. And, make sure you make a REAL comment and not just an "I agree" response. This is frowned on in the forum community and will get you banned quickly. The more GOOD responses you give the more your reputation will improve on the forum.

There you have it, my personal top three free marketing tools for your business. The best thing you can do is schedule time each day to do each of these and think of this as a marathon - not a sprint! If you put your time into it then you can actually make money online, from the comfort of your own home. Good luck!
