If you are involved in email marketing aka list building you will be happy to read this post.

    Note for newbies...
    * if you put stuff up for giveaways make sure you check it is virus-free. Subscribers will unsubscribe fast if they find you've infected them!
    * if you download from a giveaway make sure you scan before opening, for extra security. I just downloaded some material from a current giveaway promo and three items had viruses in them.

    Thanks for the report - I have not ventured into Giveaway Events yet to build my lists, but I think it is a good idea. I will keep researching the topic but based on your report, it is going to take some effort to get into the "inner circle". Nothing ventured nothing gained, eh?
