Ideal video length for video squeeze page?

Ok so what do you think is the ideal length for a video squeeze page?

I just created one and it ran nearly 9mins! It didn't seem that long. I guess when ramble about something you're passionate about, time flies.

So whats the best length?

Do you think it depends on niche? Or can you have a short video for all niches if it's for just opting in?

    Way to long IMHO! I would say 3 min is ideal......no longer than 5. Peak there interest in the first minute and then tell the rest after they have signed up. If you you don't get there interest in the first minute, you'll never have them.

      Yes, 9 minutes is way too long. I would suggest that you make two videos of 3 minutes and 4 minutes of length and split test which one is doing better.

      Edit:
      When I was typing the post, WhoIsBenjamin's post was not there. If I have read his post before i wouldn't have written mine. He has said it all. But, I think you should do the split test just to make sure that you have the right version of the video.

    I actually tested responses with a 2-3 minute video, and a video longer
    than 3 minutes.

    The less than 2-3 minutes won each time. After that, I never had any
    reason to make a longer squeeze page.

    When you think about it, it's a "squeeze" page...it's suppose to happen
    quickly and get to the point of the offer, it's not a "long, drawn out"
    page.

    That's the way I look at it now anyway

    im testing a zero second video ala frank kern. In other words, a screen capture of the video only. I am preselling people more on the video to push this more.

    The best length?

    Ideally 2.34 minutes will give you a 400% boost in your op-tin rates

    Now you know the exact length, make yours that length too.

    but on a serious note, less than 3 minutes work best.
