Is PageRank Important for Article Submission ?

Hi Warriors,

In the submission of articles to articles directories, does it benefit if I were to submit to those directories which have PageRank (PR) 0 ?

There are a few article directories with PR0 but the Alexa Rank is pretty good, ie. < 20,000.

    Those with good alexa ranking but no pr or zero pr probably been download graded by google.They could get back their PR in the further.Why don't you just submit it to site with good PR like articledashboard

      Hi warriors,

      Thanks for all the responds. Seems like for manual submission, I should only submit to those with PR > 0 first, unless there is a fully automated system to submit to all directories

    SEO is done for getting two things:

    For getting traffic
    for generating SERP

    If you put your site's link on a low PR article directly then it will not leave you a good backlink at all but if the alexa ranking of the site are good then you may receive a lots of quality traffic from that article directory.

    PR is not important,the main motto is : getting more traffic,you get high Page Rank. So submit ur site on PR -0 Rank but also check Alexa Ranking too!

    Well first hit up the high PR + high alexa rank sites then move on to low PR + high alexa rank sites for submitting articles.

    Sometimes, the life of your articles can also be affected by how the pageranks tell them. There are lots of reliable article directories which you can use to leverage your article marketing such as EzineArticles and the likes. As they're easily crawled by the engines, your chance of getting known by the public could really be close.
