Hi everyone,

I have ordered some video from footage firm before and got some good free stock footage for videos.

Now they are offering the same free offers for several of their music DVD's. You just have to pay for shipping and handling so it could be a good deal if you like the tracks they offer.

Anyway, here is the link. Note: not an affiliate link or anything just the promotional link they sent out to past customers informing them of the sale.

Free Production Music New

Hope that can help someone out!

Why would you pay for music when you can get it everywhere for free?

When using music or video footage that is "free" you have to be very careful about implementing it into anything you may be producing for internet marketing, or offline marketing too for that matter.

Copyright infringements are very real, and after many years in the music industry myself, you quickly learn that you can get yourself into a messy legal situation if you use the intellectual property rights of another without permission or payment.

The offer referred to by Webgal is probably legit and permission is probably granted by the distributor, but it's probably worth making sure to avoid any future discrepancies with copyrights.

There are lots of audio/video products that offer public usage of the material and it's written into the agreement that they make with you upon purchase.

If there's no such agreement in writing, you should be aware that it may be a risk--especially if you post something on the internet for sale.

An old Mongolian proverb says: "Better to cover your ass, than to get it burned" ; )

Always must read very careful the terms and conditions of a license - for avoiding troubles. Same in IM when dealing with PLR, MRR, RR, etc.

      Exactly right!

I produce music also and licence it out to clients via www.audiosparx.com

Yes at the link you'll find my music, but more importantly people can see a large music licensing site in action. These guys are a large company who have an army of lawyers and they own about 3 music licensing sites.

Just make sure you've got permission from the music author/publisher etc if you wanna use the music on websites, commercial use etc etc.

I agree with Peter - "Better to cover your ass, than to get it burned".

Thank you for sharing but be careful when using these music in your production ... royalty free doesn't mean copyright free.
