    Interesting article... although I think twitter may lose some members
    for other upcoming micro-blogging sites (like the article says)...

    I am fairly new to Twitter and find it a very useful tool, especially
    when it comes to updating status on some social networks. The
    only thing I regret about Twitter is that I did not become a member
    sooner.

    From going through some other forums, I came across Ping.fm
    I'm not sure if this posted in this forum yet or not, but my gosh, it is
    a very useful site to update your status in one spot for most of your
    social networks...

      IMHO, it should be no problem for twitter charging us as long as we have a lot of followers and profiting from it.

      If twitter is profiting from charging business user, alternative of Twitter may arise too ...

    Very interesting article. Just wonder if, as the article mentioned, business balking at paying, after all it's been free. Guess twitter has bills to pay too, can't blame them for looking to make something.

    It took them three years to come up with this business model?

    I suspect these will be rather expensive accounts, such as trying to capitalize off Dell's million dollar in revenue twitter campaign. If they try to put a bright line between business and personal use a lot of personal use that is really business is going to get caught in between. And most people will just leave the service rather than pay.
