My site has an Alexa ranking of 70

It's so funny I should take a picture of it for fun.

My Article Directory, Astonishing Articles, has an Alexa ranking of 70 according to my Alexa toolbar.

Can someone else please verify this information with THEIR Alexa toolbar?

Yes, I know an Alexa ranking of 70 is absolutely unheard of (unless you're Facebook.com, Google.com, MySpace.com, etc.) but that's what it's ranking my directory at right now.

Huh...maybe they're going through a weird re-evaluation period right now any things are a bit shuffled for the moment.

Anyone else getting crazy rankings right now?

I don't have the Alexa toolbar, but a fire fox add-on, it's showing 364K for me. Sorry.

brings up a traffic rank of 364,076

yes showing 364k.

Also, how significant is Alexa ranking for you people? I have seen the alexa ranking for some of my clients website literally shooting up (getting to something like 150,000 from the point of "no data" in less than two months) ... makes me wonder what actually is a good Alexa now days?

Um, there was NOTHING more weird when in 2006 Google granted my site a PR10 on the Toolbar and it showed for EVERYONE! Also, if you looked up the backlinks for my site, ALL of Adobe's backlinks were mine when you did a "link:domain.com" ;D So imagine feeling this curse of having a PR10 (because there are only like 150 pages like that in the world I believe) and people are sitting there calling me a hacker and hijacking adobe.com's links and everything. It was a shifty period for almost two months and there's tons of pages about it still in Google...

Google is full of it. Case in point - Google gives itself PR10, whereas w3.org, the site of Tim Berners-Lee )who invented the internet for God's sake!), only gets a 9. Algorithms are stupid. w3.org should get an 11 and be the only site to do so.
