What types of videos convert best?

All things being equal, does anyone happen to know which type of sales videos convert best? Whiteboard animation? Spokesperson? Other?

Also, do you think background music helps or hurts a sales video?

    Keep video shorter than 5 mins and animation is convert best for my experience.

    The best thing you can do is have good pacing in the video. Many people who market through video look like they're making infomercials for old people who watch TV. Look at how, let's say, the Vlogbrothers vlog. Notice how there's no pauses and there is a CONSTANT avalanche of information coming your way.
    The same should happen in your videos (whiteboard or not). Don't have unnecessary pauses. Talk fast. Edit well.
    If the first 5-10 seconds of your videos aren't ENGAGING AS HELL, nobody's going to watch the rest of it.
