How the heck did this page get that many likes in less than 2 months?

The page had a lot of buzz? I've never heard of it before until today. It's nothing special about it, it's EXACTLY like a million other pages with happy pictures..

The average age is probably 14 or something though, maybe that's got something to do with it...

This is normal if a page is relatively new and got a lot of likes in a short period.
Like this page went viral.
In a few months, it will likely decrease.

It's normal. Here is another page that has a lot more people talking about it than liking it. I remember when they had 4 or 5 times as many people talking.

If the profile pic is really the page owner, my guess is she's somewhere in the 12-15 age range, so maybe she is just doing it for fun. I wonder if she knows she's sitting on a gold mine.

It's so silly that these kind of pages get a lot of likers, without having any real substance or content. Proves that most of the the Facebook users are sheep with half a brain..

I mean, in my Fb news feed I'd had to block some of my friends because the feed is full of "encouraging" pictures with cheesy quotes on them. It's a damn virus, that's what it is.

Oh well, time to make money off of it.

My kids are fans of tons of these pages. I always look at the numbers in amazement but the fact is that you can't make a dime with them.

Don't 12 year olds buy pop tunes, celebrity junk, hair accessories, video games, other toys, etc? I know the parents foot the bills, but a certain percentage of that million kids surely has an allowance, or access to their parents' credit card, right? I don't know the market, but I somehow doubt that someone who does would find it impossible to sell a few items to an audience of 12 year old kids a million strong.

Most likely they bought some or managed to get likes with FB Advertisements, then (as qoutes, love, cute pictures are the most popular) it went viral. When you made this thread, they had 877k, now they have 1,2M likes.

It is possible to make something like this, I recommend using Facebook Advertisements, there you can get very cheap likers with targeted traffic. Mostly the teens and girls are interested in these.

It is a beautiful thing to hide some advertisements creatively between the qoutes, you will get amazingly high traffic and conversion rates. (CPA e.g.)

Adsense is not the best way to advertise Facebook Pages... Facebook Advertisements are the best way for it. The Facebook is also interested in it, because you will get the traffic for their site, so you can get it relatively cheaper.

so when people are boring go to those sites and start liking the pages
you can use a content locker and put it on the website
so if they want to see the pic they will have to like the fanpage
