Is there a way to schedule posts to Instagram?

Does anyone know of any service that allows you to schedule posts to Instagram accounts? In the same manner HootSuite does for Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks!

Edmund

P.S. I run multiple Instagram niche accounts so I'm looking for ways to auto-post and schedule them.

I am not really sure about this. I have been an Instagram user for months now but I have never come across such kind of feature. I mean, I post on Instagram several times a week but I have never really considered doing what you are asking about. Maybe you can try Googe-ing it.

That's the thing, I've already tried Google search and found no such thing so far. A lot of these 'auto posts' refer to automatically posting to FB and Twitter, which ironically is a useless third party feature since Instagram can already do that.

I'm looking for an app or suite that can schedule the postings, so I don't have to post daily on my own (to several accounts, that is!)

Hope someone knows! I'm surprised no one has thought of developing this yet.

Now, I remember one of my friends ranting about this. She is an online shop owner and a traveler, too. She asked whether Instagram has such kind of feature. She wanted some help in posting images of her products on her desired time while she is away. It would really be a great help if Instagram had this feature.

    Hey guys!

I just found this service that makes it possible to schedule your posts - at any time or date in the future! It does have a price, but I think it is the only service out there that gets the job done :-)

I've also always wondered about this. I feel like now that Facebook owns Instagram, there should be a site that allows you to schedule pictures to post...but I haven't come across anything. But thanks Lindsay for giving us a reason why they can't create it yet...hopefully this will change soon!

Maybe its just me, and I understand why people want automated posting programs, I use them for my twitter occasionally, but I personally believe the point of social media is real time engagement. You can use auto posting, but if everyone is using auto posting programs, where is the engagement?

Just my two cents...for whats it worth

Can't do it yet. Yes it is an API limitation (basically not avail to work with), hootsuite and bufferapp say it's one of their most asked about features. Would love to schedule IG pics too!

Actually there are a few paid services, I personally tired postso and schedugram, I prefer schedugram for its interface and more importantly the great bulk upload feature. Of course all these need your instagram username and password since the API doesn't allow automatic posting, personally I've had no problem and these websites have been active for a while with no security problems thus far.

Hello. For that matter, you need to use a social media management tool. HootSuite is an example. There's also SproutSocial, it is more complex than Hootsuite. Another one is Falcon Social. Read their reviews online so that you'll be able to know their pros and cons.

I use the schedule feature on http://boostgram.com because its a growth tool and scheduling tool all in one. I upload 30 photos (one photo a day) at the beginning of the month, write captions, and add my filters.

Takes me about 20 minutes to schedule an entire month worth of content.

I've tried Hootsuite and Latergramme (now Later).

Hootsuite allows you to upload the photo and content and schedule a time for posting. It then sends you a notification at the appointed time but you still need to go into Instagram, find your photo from your library to upload and then paste your content. I can't really see how this saves you much time as it's still a big interruption to your day. It is good as an organisational tool but in fact, I think you could even be duplicating your efforts by uploading twice.

Later offers the same function and I didn't get past the free trial once I realised that it doesn't post either. As it's essentially only a scheduling tool it's really expensive ($49 a month for 5 social media accounts, which I think would be average for most social media managers) to the point where I thought I must have missed a significant key feature for that price? I'd love someone to enlighten me if it does do more!

It looks like there are a few scheduling tools for Insta but none that actually do the posting. I'd be happy to pay $49 a month for something that allows me to schedule posts for the month ahead and then just forget about them (if anyone's listening and has the skills to build this, I'd be really really happy to pay good money for it!)

Try onlypult.com. I have used it with 4-5 accounts and you do not need to do anything from your mobile.

From my personal experience, I would say you should go with onlypult.com. They are not free but you can completely post to instagram using computer. Unlike hootsuite or some other tools it does not require a phone to approve the post either. Enjoy.

So maybe it's worth checking it out:
