[FB] Good CPCs with lower budgets, but bad CPCs with higher budgets

I'll run one ad that I know is a winner @ a daily budget of $200 and I'll see 200+% ROI on the back end with sub 10 cent CPCs.

Then I'll up the budget to 3k or 5k the next day and the CPCs will triple or quadruple, and my ROI will go from 200+% to break-even or even losing.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? Is there some trick to budget manipulation that will keep the CPCs low?

I've tried incrementally scaling the budget a little every day and that doesn't seem to do the trick, and I've also tried blasting 5k right off the bat and that also doesn't give me the CPCs I want.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I think this is not a matter how your budget.....

You need to target the actual people who are interested about your add....

I do. The same ad with the same targeting on day#1 with a $200 budget will give me 6-9 cent clicks.

When I up the budget on the SAME AD the next day, my CPCs jump to 20 or 30 cents.

The targeting remains the same because it is simply the same ad with a higher budget.

This what happens sometimes when you increase your budget significantly. You've tried slowly increasing the budget over time and you're still seeing your ROI dwindle so my suggestion would be try different bidding strategies. This sometimes works. Then... try setting up the same exact campaign in a different campaign. You've to tweak, zig and zag and eventually you'll find out what works for you.
