How would you grow this twitter account I have?

Hey I know there's often twitter related threads, but I'd like advice specific to what I'm doing.

Okay so currently I have a few soundcloud accounts, each one I find good music related to their genres. and this is going nicely because I have 100+ followers in each of them, which is quite hard to do without actually posting any tracks on soundcloud.

The problem:
sharing what I posted on other social media sites does nothing constructive to get me followers.

I need to build a large following everywhere for when I start promoting my site which will have music related tools/tutorials/everything. But can't seem to get my feet off the ground on other social media sites.

    Try Socialoomph it works building a huge amount of Twitter followers... I my self build a Facebook fanpage and a list in the bodybuilding niche that way.

      That does help, Socialoomph seems to be popular so it must be good.

      Just trying to focus on traditional methods first right now.

      I'll probably just have to wait until I create my website that gives my twitter more of a purpose then reposting music off soundcloud.

      Wish it could be that easy though heh.

    Let me share with you one of my tricks up my sleeve to get some Twitter followers very fast!

    This is what you could do ...

    Find the Twitter of a very popular Musician relevant to your type of music - or the Twitter of a popular Music Site.

    Then go to their 'Followers' Page. Start Following as many people as possible there!

    Do this daily!

    Twitter has limits - just so you know. This is why you need to do it daily. And there is also a limit to how many people you can follow but this will get you a big jump start!

    Try this out and let us know how it goes!

      Thanks I just followed 100 people on each of my accounts, wasn't sure what the limit was but didn't get a warning or anything so far.

    I had a client who wanted to reach Kindle readers so they gave away a Kindle Unlimited Membership. In order for them to win the membership they had to like their facebook page, follow them on Twitter, etc. its a win win for everyone and they can be easily monetized.

    Follow people who are in the same niche as you. Interact with people.... This is how you grow your twitter. There are also tools out there that help with this process. Hootsuite is good and there are a few others.
