I have a Facebook Page with 70k likes! What do I do??

I have a Facebook Fanpage with about 70,000 likes on it. The thing is, it is not very easy to make money from. The topic of the page is funny quotes from a character on a popular TV show called modern family. I tried selling shirts on T-spring but that was a complete failure. Everybody said they liked the designs, but nobody bought any.
Can someone please help me? I feel like i'm sitting on a gold mine but just can't find the gold that's right underneath me...

    Hi BigNate,

The trick with Facebook is to try and give your likers something for free in order for them to sign up to your email list. From there you can begin to form a relationship with your list, so that you can send them more content and sell to them every now and them.

Could you create something like an ebook with more funny quotes, or information about the characters to give away for free to get their email addresses?

A good list is MUCH more valuable than Facebook likes - it is breaching the gap and getting them on the list which is the hard bit.

I believe you will get many more sales of your T-Shirts that way

I guess the BIG question is how you got those likes. If you paid for likes and ended up with a bunch of non-engaged accounts...there isn't a lot you can do.

The first step you need to take is to find out the demographics of the people who like your page and the demographics of those who engage with you on the page.

Once you determine that, you can start planning what type of products/services make the most sense.

In my opinion, Facebook is Email with a face lift, over 50% of people check their emails first thing in the morning. I believe the holy grail of marketing is connecting with your customers on every communication platform they use. The next step would be separating those customers into groups so that you can build relationships with them on the platform they love to use.

I've learned this from these forums.

Unless you're getting lots of engagement... Likes, Shares and Page Posts... relatively
few of those 70,000 ever see anything you post. That could be one reason you aren't
    selling the Tees.

Take steps to create engagement. Be sure to Like your own posts. When you
do that it shows up ijn the Notifications feed of everyone who Likes the page whether
the post appears in their newsfeed, or not. That's one way of drawing them back in.

Ask questions to prompt those who see the post to respond. Always ask them
to Like and Share on each post. The number of Likes and Shares jumps significantly
when you ask them to do it... no different than a typical call to action.

As engagement grows Facebook's algorithym will automatically begin serving your
posts to more of your list of Likes. That will lead to further engagement... and, possibly,
    sales.

If you have that many Likes then do a few things. 1 Increase your engagement (post content, articles, videos, memes,, viral post) regularly. Like Every 1-2 hours. Just schedule it out or have your assistant do it for you. Then give strong calls to action and at the bottom of the Status make sure to give them an opportunity to join "Your Fan Club" or whatever you call your Squeeze/Bridge Page.

75 percent content 25 monetization with regard to your content strategy. Also, every time you post make sure to give a strong call to action. i.e. If you agree then Like this post, Share with someone who can use this or Tag someone who can relate to this.

With that big of an audience you should be making some pretty good money. Just think outside the box. Find "OTHER" related topics that go with your niche and provide tons of content. Once you start to get more engagement you will start to see your profits increase.

    Good Luck.

I advertise on Fb and end up gaining about 100+ likes. But i realise all these likes seem to be non-quality likes. Most of the so called 'fans' who like my page likes plenty of pages and doesn't seem to be interested in my products.

I'm sorry to say these likes aren't worth much these days :/

I spent A LOT of money building two facebook pages, one has 50K and the other has 25K real targeted followers (obtained through ads, targeted on interests, and no empty bought accounts). Still, whenever I post something, Facebook only shows my post to about 200 people..
I've paid to boost a lot of posts, but this seems to only make my regular post get even less reach (see a pattern??)

How many likes or comments has approximately every posts on the page?I 'am trying to understand the quality of your followers that the page has.But selling posts feature with people sites or add splashposts on the facebook page and collect emails giving them more content or something free could bring you results.

Facebook wants you to pay to get likes and than wants you to pay again to reach those fans. RIP LOGIC. Facebook is sucking the blood out of internet marketers. I hate facebook for being this greedy.

Don't be unfair. Facebook is just trying to make the best experience for their users, by filtering stuff. It's not about money at all.

Try use FB notes to reach out to everyone in your group instantly. Tag your group and your note will show on every fans wall...cool right? . And then try to sell some tees and products. But I think you should have tried to target a more broad segment. Memes and Quotes might not be something you can sell a lot from... I might be mistaken...

Try to run a contest or a campaign which can speak about your brand. Running a contest is a very good idea since the fans will win something. The prize should be one of your products coz thats what will decide whether the fans are really interested in your products. Content and visuals should be created keeping the target audience in mind. It is important to analyze the demographics and create content which appeal them!! Social media marketing is one of the most suitable and sensible option to let your fans know about your brand and company.

Use the Facebook's page insights to see the demographics of the audience.
Match the demographics with CPA Offer and promote the offer on fan page.

Apply to PeerFly and MaxBounty. Both are good networks and easier to get started in.

    Like previous posters said....

Give them something for free to join up

Find some great affilate program that relevant to today's market but make sure it's good because you don't want to be backing something that's bad and will have an impact on your reputation.

Stay consistent and provide value at all time
