Facebook is the BEST!!

Hello, my first post here was about a question regarding Facebook and other CPC service providers like Jemamedia or Adknowledge. The question was: "Is Facebook better than the others?" Or do you recommend Jemamedia, Adknowledge, or 7search? The answer from most of you was: "Facebook." However, I need to know what if I am planning a Facebook campaign; is there any restrictions to affiliate links? Because I will direct the traffic to the vendor page first as a test, then I will make a video and a landing page. What I heard is that Facebook will not allow any Hoplinks. What is the solution then? Shall I shorten the link or buy a domain and redirect it to the vendor?

By the way, I will target the game niche. Do you recommend me targeting the United States or another country? Is it better to target certain states like Florida, California, or New York; Since these states seem to have potential customers at the age of 13-19?

If there are any recommendation to start a successful Facebook campaign? It could be an article or a book on Facebook or another source that might be helpful, I would be grateful.

Good luck to all of you.

I don't know much about affiliates on Facebook, so I can't answer to that, but I know a thing or two about targeting.

One thing that's important to realise is that the costs per country varies hugely. For example, you can get clicks/likes from countries like Spain and Italy for about 1/3 of the price of United States. I've found that if you target all the countries in the same ad, you'll only get results from the cheapest ones. So make sure you make a few different ads with different targeting.
Also, the price per click (or per 1000 views) totally depends on how well your ad is performing. Facebook wants to show people high quality posts. If your ads have very low CTR, you will have to pay Facebook more for them to show it to people. If your ads have high CTR, they get cheaper, as the post will be seen as "high quality".

Hitting the right target will also make it cheaper, as the right people are more likely to click your ad.

So make sure you experiment a lot. Try different photos, different texts, and different targets.
